The Lopping Owl is a creature that holds Carkayous’s deepest, darkest secrets. They were first discovered by Jesse while exploring Durken Forest and have an uncanny ability to mimic human speech. What's even more interesting is that the owls will teach each other words, phrases, and vocal patterns they learn, creating their own language of sorts. It’s believed that the Lopping Owl originated on the west coast of Carkayous and quickly migrated to the rest of the continent after some unknown disaster caused them to flee.
